Artists We Missed – Bowski

So we can’t say we missed Bowski but perhaps you did ?
Anyway, Bowski is a Bristol based producer and DJ who produces what could be best described as Techno/ House/ Funk. It seems Bowski was picked up by Fake Blood’s Record label Blood Music and rightly so. Bowski’s productions are really unique and have a rare instant groove hook that keeps anyway who’s a fan of electronic music coming back for second helpings, like a fat kid in the dinner que. Sirisumo

If you haven’t already heard of Sirisumo the Berlin-based music producer then you’re going to love this. Sirisumo is the producer who deserves to be a whole lot bigger than he is. Spawning from an electronic music scene that had started to get a bit stagnant Sirisumo continues to do his thang’ and produce some really stunning and boundary pushing pieces of electronic music. Funky and well composed you’d think Sirisumo was the blood line of Stevie Wonder and Kraftwerk where his collective god parents, but no! there not- he’s just one original bad ass.
Tracks to checkout are- Siriusmo- All The Girls ,  Siriusmo- Nights Off and Siriusmo – High Together. He also has a more recent release on Monkey Town Records which you can hear below-

Hans Zimmer- Time (Audible Bootleg)

Every now and again an instantly nostalgic track comes along, this time it happens to be a bootleg of Hans Zimmer’s- Time. Having watched Inception and loving the soundtrack meant the original master piece had already been in-printed in my mind. Naturally as soon as I heard the bootleg my nostalgic senses got tingling which led to me keeping this track on loop for the entire day. Its a really great bootleg and its going to sound weird but anyone who’s a fan of Hans Zimmer / Ibiza vibes is going to love it.

For anyone that hasn’t already seen this prolific beatboxer you should check him out.

Astroid Boys – This MC, and DJ krew have been obliterating the music scene for sometime now, mixing all the best elements of live performance with a Dubstep/Punk twist Astroid Boys are one to look out for this year. Booka Shade

Booka Shade are a German house duo who specailise in live electronic performance. What they seem to be doing so well is taking advantage of the live sequencing tools we now have.
You can mash, loop, stutter, pitch, build on and pretty much manipulate any piece of audio on the fly and its what makes electronic music performance the unexpected.
