Booking Acts And Payments-
The Exchange of money via Acthook.com is prohibited and we take no responsibility for any transactions you may proceed or attempt, we always advise anyone when booking an act via acthook.com to pay the act on arrival or after a performance.
If A Promoter Does Not Pay The Agreed Rider-
We recommend all promoters to always stick to the agreed rider unless requested not to by the act. We can take no responsibility for promoters not paying the agreed rider, it is up to the individual act to make sure they collect what payment they have agreed on.
Data
Acthook does not give any information to 3rd parties and will always takes all necessary precautions to make sure your data stays safe. Once a profile is created the information that an act has given on their edit profile will become live and a profile will be created which is available to the public. At any point if you no longer want this information shown you can choose to delete your account or simply delete the information off your rider.
Copyright Data Infringement
In order to use acthook.com and under UK law all users must not upload or use copyrighted material in any form. A user must own or have rights to use their display image. Any information that infringes on copyright which is uploaded by an act can lead to the account being deleted and a permanant ban from our services.
Admin
The admin team reserves the right to change any information that is stored or posted by a user in order to keep the site looking how it is intended. This excludes act names, email addresses and login details. If a user is seen to be abusing the site their profile may be deleted.
If you are under the age of 18 we always recommend meeting any event promoters with a responsible adult. For all users of Acthook we recommend always exercising caution when meeting promoters off the internet especially under 18's. Most pubs and club and venues will not allow underage entry into venues unless specified, so take this into mind. Acthook is for acts and promoters of live music only, If you find anyone acting suspiciously or requesting personal information that isn't within the normal booking requirements, please contact us immediately and we will take immediate action.
You agree to let Acthook.com send promotional material relevant to the site such as the weekly “Gigs this week Update” and other general things to do with the website. Acthook will take all precautions to make sure your email is never passed onto third parties and we will only ever send emails relevant to our users.
